Gold Rush is a documentary style show, following a group of unemployed Americans who believe they have a chance to strike it rich...via gold mining.
The show regularly attempts to explain some of the technological challenges inherent in this type of surface strip mining.
Gold Rush has had two pretty strong seasons, with season'3 looking to be significantly bigger in scale.
